Installalation du driver EciAdsl sur OpenBSD 3.3

Introduction: ceci a été testé sous OpenBSD 3.3, mais devrait fonctionner
avec d'autres versions de BSD. Vous ajusterez simplement l'emplacement des
fichiers.

Etape 1: installer gmake
------------------------

-> solution 1:
pkg_add ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/3.3/packages/i386/gmake-3.80.tgz

-> solution 2:
  télécharger:
    ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/3.3/packages/i386/gmake-3.80.tgz
    ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/3.3/packages/i386/libiconv-1.8.tgz
    ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/3.3/packages/i386/gettext-0.10.40p1.tgz
  pkg_add gmake-3.80.tgz

Ajouter /usr/local/bin dans votre PATH:

- pour les utilisateurs de sh:
  vi .profile
  PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/bin
  export PATH

Etape 2: télécharger les fichiers requis
----------------------------------------

Etape 3: compiler et installer libpusb
--------------------------------------

tar zxvf libpusb.tar.gz
cd libpusb/src
./configure
gmake clean ; rm *.o
gmake
gmake install

Etape 3 : compiler et installer eciadsl-usermode
------------------------------------------------

- compiler eciadsl-usermode

tar zxvf eciadsl-usermode-0.10.tar.gz
cd eciadsl-usermode-0.10
gmake clean
gmake eci-load1 eci-load2 pppoeci

- configuration de ppp

(ppp.conf est présent dans eciadsl-usermode-0.10)
cp ppp.conf /etc/ppp/ppp.conf

Dans ce fichier (/etc/ppp/ppp.conf), vous devez changer :
  - vpi/vci
  - utilisateur/mot de passe
  - vid2/pid2
  - chemin vers pppoeci

- connection à Internet

  testé avec vid1=0x1690 pid1=0x0203
             vid2=0x0915 pid2=0x0204

  testé avec vid1=0x0547 pid1=0x2131
             vid2=0x0915 pid2=0x8000

./eci-load1 vid1 pid1 vid2 pid2 firmware00.bin
./eci-load2 vid2 pid2 synch01.bin
ppp -background adsl

Installing EciAdsl driver on OpenBSD 3.3

Introduction: This has been tested on OpenBSD 3.3, however it should
work with other BSD version. You might adjust the file location.

Step 1: install gmake
---------------------

-> solution 1:
pkg_add ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/3.3/packages/i386/gmake-3.80.tgz

-> solution 2:
  download:
    ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/3.3/packages/i386/gmake-3.80.tgz
    ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/3.3/packages/i386/libiconv-1.8.tgz
    ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/3.3/packages/i386/gettext-0.10.40p1.tgz
  pkg_add gmake-3.80.tgz

Add /usr/local/bin to your PATH:

- for sh users:
  vi .profile
  PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/bin
  export PATH

Step 2: download the required files

Step 3: compile and install libpusb
-----------------------------------

tar zxvf libpusb.tar.gz
cd libpusb/src
./configure
gmake clean ; rm *.o
gmake
gmake install

Step 3 : compile and install eciadsl-usermode
---------------------------------------------

- compile eciadsl-usermode

tar zxvf eciadsl-usermode-0.10.tar.gz
cd eciadsl-usermode-0.10
gmake clean
gmake eci-load1 eci-load2 pppoeci

- configuration of ppp

(ppp.conf is present in eciadsl-usermode-0.10)
cp ppp.conf /etc/ppp/ppp.conf

In this file (/etc/ppp/ppp.conf), you need to change the following:
  - vpi/vci
  - login/password
  - vid2/pid2
  - path to pppoeci

- connecting to the Internet

  tested with vid1=0x1690 pid1=0x0203
              vid2=0x0915 pid2=0x0204

  tested with vid1=0x0547 pid1=0x2131
              vid2=0x0915 pid2=0x8000
