     This directory contains Beta versions of EciAdsl driver.
     It may be empty, that means no beta version is available today!


     Latest stable version (v0.10) is available from this URL:

         http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/download.php


     **** KERNELS 2.4.x: ****

     If you've got oops from pppoeci and kernel 2.4.xx (and ONLY in this
     situation), you can try to patch usb-uhci driver with this patch:

         2.4.x-usb-uhci.patch
        
        
        
     **** KERNELS 2.6.x: ****

     Only versions >= 0.9 are compatible with 2.6 kernels.

     WARNING: your 2.6.x (<= 2.6.6) kernel should be patched with this patch:
              (kernels 2.6.7 and above are ok without patch)

                2.6.x-usb.patch

              To apply the patch, go to /usr/src/linux-2.6.x directory
              and issue this command:

                patch -p1 </path/to/2.6.x-usb.patch

              If all is ok you should see:

                patching file drivers/usb/core/devio.c

              Then you have to RECOMPILE and REINSTALL the kernel.
        
     You need to create again your driver config with eciconf.sh
     or eciconftxt.sh

     Ce répertoire contient les versions Beta du driver EciAdsl.
     Il peut être vide, ce qui signifie qu'aucune version Beta n'est
     disponible aujourd'hui !

     **** NOYAUX 2.4.x: ****

     Si vous avez des oops dans pppoeci et un noyau 2.4.xx (et SEULEMENT
     dans ce cas), vous pouvez essayer de patcher le driver usb-uhci
     avec ce patch:

         2.4.x-usb-uhci.patch
        
        
        
     **** NOYAUX 2.6.x: ****

     Seules les versions >= 0.9 sont compatibles avec les noyaux 2.6.

     ATTENTION: votre noyau 2.6.x (<= 2.6.6) doit être patché avec ce patch:
                (les noyaux 2.6.7 et plus sont ok sans patch)

                  2.6.x-usb.patch

                Pour appliquer le patch, allez dans le répertoire
                /usr/src/linux-2.6.x et lancez cette commande :

                  patch -p1 </path/to/2.6.x-usb.patch

                Si tout est ok, vous devriez voir :

                  patching file drivers/usb/core/devio.c

                A présent, vous devez RECOMPILER et REINSTALLER le noyau.
        
     Vous devez recréer la configuration du driver avec eciconf.sh
     ou eciconftxt.sh
